What are the qualifications to rent an apartment managed by John Atkinson Company?
Applicants will be screened for approval in accordance to the Tenant Selection Policy. Applicants must also income qualify under the income limits set forth by HUD, USDA, and/or NCHFA. Applicant background checks include credit, criminal, and eviction history. You may request a copy of our Tenant Selection Policy by contacting us here.
Are Pets Allowed?
Properties designated as FAMILY (Glenwood Court Apartments, Parkland Apartments, & Southgate Apartments) do NOT allow pets. Service/Companion animals are allowed, however must first be approved by management before coming onto the property and must follow our Service/Companion Animal Policy.
Properties designated as ELDERLY (Norman Court Apartments, Knollwood Court Apartments, Meadowgreen Apartments Phase I, II, & III) allow all households to house a pet as long as it meets our Pet Policy. A deposit of $100.00 will be required for all pets. Pet must be approved by management before coming onto the property. Service/Companion animals are are allowed and do not require deposit. However, Service/Companion animals must first be approved by management before coming onto the property and must follow our Service/Companion Animal Policy.
